lies right in the middle of Copalis
Beach. The beach here is wide, sandy, and flat.
Local Landmarks
Ocean City is one of the oldest communities in the North Beach.
James Rock is near Ocean
City. It was discovered in 1792 by Lt. Whidbey,
one of Captain Vancouver’s lieutenants.
Point Brown, originally named Lone Tree Point, is also near Ocean City it was discovered by Captain
Robert Gray in 1791.
