This is a favorite local swimming hole. The water is warm, the park is exceptional, and the park should have won an award. If you are hot and tired of traveling, get a deli sandwich when you leave the freeway at exit 246, jaunt down to this park, take a dip and have a picnic. The trip will seem shorter and the experience will leave you with a warm smile. Seasonally, they also have a snack bar at the park.

Directions

Take Exit 246, go Southwest of the freeway for about three miles keeping to the right, you will find the park just to the right before you go over the bridge on the lake.
