Washington Park, Anacortes, WA

This park offers a variety of activities for the tourist

When it comes to city parks Washington Park stands out. Not only does it have the usual picnic areas, some more spectacular than most, it also has camping, RV spaces with hookups, a boat launch, and a beautiful scenic drive. It was a cloudy winter day when we visited the park last and even with a heavy cloud cover and some rain we enjoyed the views on the scenic drive and went for a walk.

Directions

Follow the signs to the Ferry to the San Juan Islands, instead of making the final turn to the right down a hill to the terminal, go straight and you will end up at the park entrance.
