Photo of steel sculpture in parkThe City of Raymond is full of art.

You can see it along city streets and in the parks.  The photo at the left shows steel sculptures of two fishermen by an old boat.  It is located in a picnic area south of town on Highway 101.

The mural on the building at Blake and 5th Streets depicts the history of the community.  The mural is on the wall of the local General Store named Dennis Company.  This General Store is worth a visit.

Photo of visitor center sign.

They have a Visitor Information Center in Raymond.  The sign on Highway 101 will direct you to the center.  Unfortunately they do not have a web site on 6/1/01

The Population of Raymond is around 3000 and it was first incorporated as a city in 1907.

The City of South Bend has a population of around 1700 and was incorporated in 1890.

As you can see from the photos below, Raymond is full of steel sculptures.  There is a surprise around almost every corner

The City of South Bend is shown below.

South Bend is on a bend on the Willapa River to the southwest of Raymond on Highway 101.
