We Recommend Clark’s Restaurants

The Village of Artic was supposed to be Arctic but they misspelled the name back in the 1800’s.  It was a logging town but now consists of one business, Clark’s Restaurant.  They don’t have much of an image as signage goes, on the road there is one small old beat up portable sign.

As you can see there is a nice painted wood sign on the building but the building is set back from the road so you can’t see the sign till you are almost past the place.  The signs and the exterior of the building do not tell the true story of this restaurant.  We stopped here for lunch and ordered the clam strips, fish and chips and a cheeseburger.

The cheeseburger was the largest and best burger I have ever had the pleasure to eat.  The other members of  our party also had great meals.  The clams tasted fresh and the fish in the fish and chips could be called gourmet.  The fries were awesome and I ordered a milk shake and it came topped with a chocolate Sunday.  You would have to experience it to understand the concept.  This restaurant is worth a special trip to visit.  They earned the best burger award for Grey’s Harbor for 2001.
