Bay Center is located approximately 10 miles south of South Bend on the Goose Point Peninsula that juts into Willapa Bay.

The Village is one of the oldest communities in Pacific County. The basis of Bay Center economy is Oysters, commercial fishing, seafood farming, and seafood processing. Fresh seafood is available at several of the canneries at Bay Center.
