Woodland / Highway 503 – RV Park, fuel, food, and lodging at this exit.

        

Highway 503 heads east to the villages of Ariel, Yale, and

             Cougar and then heads south to Battle Ground.

La Center / 319th Street – Fuel and Paradise Point State Park

 

Paradise Point State Park - an 88-acre  park with 6,180 feet of freshwater shoreline.  Named for its original peacefulness, the construction of Interstate-5 invaded some of that peacefulness.  The trees in the campground absorb most of the nearby freeway’s noise.

 

The park has 78 tent spaces.  Some of the campsites are in a grassy area.. Sites have no hook-ups. Maximum vehicle length is 40 feet.  There is a trailer dump station at the park.  The park takes reservations.

Northbound Only – Port of Entry Truck Weigh Station

269th Street / Highway 501 / Battle Ground

     Highway 501 heads west 3 mi. to the Village of Ridgefield

     RV Park (4 mi.), 24 hr. fuel, food

 Battle Ground Lake State Park (14 mi.) at this exit.

This 280 acre park has beautiful, forested land in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. The lake is of volcanic origin and it is considered to be a smaller version of Crater Lake in Oregon.  The park is located east of the city of Battleground

Exit 9

179th Street / Battleground / Highway 502 – There is fuel and 24 hr. food at this exit.

 

The Town of Battleground is 8 mi. east of this exit on Highway 502

 

Exit 7

Interstate 205 – Vancouver / Portland downtown bypass.

 

Interstate-205 is 38 mile long multi-lane freeway that bypasses the downtown section of Portland rejoining Interstate 5 about 22 miles south of Portland.

 

Exit 5

99th Street – 24 hr. fuel, 24 hour grocery, food, and lodging at this exit.

 

Exit 4

78th Street / Hazel Dell – 24 hr. fuel, food, lodging at this exit.

 

 

The City of Vancouver, WA

 

Exit 3

Highway 99 / Hazel Dell – HOSPITAL – fuel

 

Exit 2

39th Street / Highway 500 – no facilities

 

Highway 500 heads east connecting with I-205 in 5 mi.  Continue 14 miles further to Camas where it connects with Highway 14

 

Exit 1d

4th Street / Highway 501 / Port of Vancouver – No facilities at this exit

 

Although we have not taken the highway, Highway 501 appears on maps to head west to Vancouver Lake and dead end.

 

Exit 1c

Vancouver City Center / Mill Plain Blvd –

         There is food, lodging, and fuel at this exit

         This is the main exit to Vancouver City Center

Exit 1a & b

Camus / Highway 14 – No facilities Highway WA-14 travels east up the Columbia River

 

Highway 14 offers an interesting alternative to I-84 if you are headed east.
