If you are only passing through Portland and do not plan on stopping we highly
suggest you take Interstate 205, it bypasses the downtown traffic
congestion but has a fair amount of traffic itself. During rush hour every highway in Portland can become a
parking lot.

City of Wilsonville Population over
7000. This suburb of Portland was barely a fuel stop until its
recent extreme growth. Today there are
several shopping centers in Wilsonville with lots of tourist facilities. The City is just far enough from downtown Portland to feel like
you are outside the big city. However,
I did not say quiet, at dinner time this is a lively place with what one
would call near traffic jams.
