The Astoria area on the Columbia River,

The coastal beaches along the northern part of the North Coast where the cities of Warrenton, Gearhart, Seaside, Cannon Beach, Manzanita, Nehalem, and Rockaway Beach.

The Tillamook Valley where the City of Tillamook is located

And last but not least the Coastal Mountain Range.

The Tillamook State Forest

The Coastal Mountain Range on the North Coast is mainly made up of the Tillamook State Forest.

This large forest is managed by the Oregon Department of Forestry.  They have built a new interpretive center on the Wilson River Highway, OR-6, east of the City of Tillamook.

Northern Ocean Beaches

The coastal beaches along the northern part of the North Coast are where you will find the cities of Warrenton, Gearhart, Seaside, Cannon Beach, Manzanita, Nehalem, and Rockaway Beach.  In general these cities revolve around their beaches and the visitors they bring.  Each city has its own unique character.

Seaside is the most family friend of all of the northern cities with its paddle boats on the Necanicum River, its carnival rides, its candy shops, restaurants, and beautiful beach.

For more information click on the different city links at the top of the green column to the left.
