Pacific City, Oregon is located on Oregon’s north Pacific Coast just southwest of Tillamook, OR. It has a population of just over 1,000 people.

Pacific City, OR is best known as the home of the Dory Fleet. They have an annual Dory Festival.

At Cape Kiwanda you can watch dories land by running up on the beach at high speed.

Just north of Pacific City is the Sandlake Sand Dunes, a major off-roading recreation area.

Where is Pacific City?

Pacific City is most easily found by taking Interstate-5 south from Portland, Oregon for 40 miles to the Salem, OR area.

Take I-5 Exit 260 onto the Salem Parkway. Travel 4½ miles to the exit for OR-22 (Grand Ronde/Pacific Beaches).

Take OR-22 to the Pacific Coast. When you arrive at the Pacific the highway dead-ends on US Highway-101.

Turn right (north) and travel approximately 10 miles to the turn to Pacific City.

Pacific City is approximately 30 miles southwest of Tillamook, OR and 26 miles north of Lincoln City, Oregon. Both of these cities are on Oregon’s Pacific Coast and also on US-101.
