Lebanon is on the eastern edge of the Mid-Willamette River Valley in central Western Oregon. It also lies in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range.

Where is Lebanon?

Lebanon is most easily found by taking Interstate-5 south from Portland for 90 miles to I-5 Exit 228. Exit I-5 and take OR-34 east for 8 miles and you will find Lebanon.

Lebanon is also 70 miles east of the Pacific Ocean Beaches and 45 miles north of Eugene, Oregon. Lebanon is about 13 miles southeast of Albany, OR.

A little bit about Lebanon.

Lebanon is the home of the world’s largest shortcake. It has been hosting the Strawberry Festival annually during the first full weekend of June since 1909.

Lebanon is a growing city with a population around 13,000. The City says there are 34 churches, 31 restaurants, 4 grocery stores, one senior center, and one library in the town. One unique aspect of the town is that it has an indoor shooting range right downtown.

Lebanon is in covered bridge country, there are 11 covered bridges within a 45 minute drive of the City. It also has many historic buildings and residences. The South Santiam River flows right through Lebanon.

East of Lebanon in the Cascade Mountains you will find hiking, skiing, fishing, camping, hunting, river rafting, swimming, and canoeing. Lebanon is located on US Highway-20 which heads east through the Cascades from the City.
