The sun was out
the day we visited this resort as you can see from the photos. This resort
takes pride in the fact that all rooms have an ocean view. The resort is located on the Smith River
where it meets the Pacific Ocean. They
have a Restaurant called the Captain’s Galley with seafood and steak as its
specialty and they have a lounge.

Directions
It is nearly
impossible to miss the Ship Ashore Resort unless you can’t see the 160 foot
yacht that is high and dry beside the road.
They are 3 miles south of the Oregon/California State Line on Highway
101 and 15 miles north of Crescent City, CA.
