We recommend the Crescent Beach Motel
The top photo at
the right is a photo looking down the covered deck at the ocean. The line coming down from the top is the
roof over the deck and the line coming up from the bottom is the deck. In between is the front yard and beyond
that, the beach and the ocean.
This motel is
the only motel in Crescent City, which is actually on the beach. The covered deck is very nice on a foggy
morning or a rainy day and on a sunny day it shades the sliding door from the
deck into your room. This motel is
clean, well kept, and there are no words to explain the feeling you get in the
morning when you open the door right onto the ocean. Rates were $56.00 and up on 4/1/01. They have free coffee and bakery items in a room off the office
starting at 7:00 AM.
