Indian Agency to oversee the Mendocino Indian Reservation. When the reservation was moved the fort was

is located 3 mi. east of CA-1 on Little River Airport Road. The trees are over 50 years old and only
two or three feet tall. There are
pygmy pine and pygmy cypress trees in the forest.

Point Arena Lighthouse and Museum – 1 mi. west of CA-1 on Lighthouse Rd. This 115 foot tall lighthouse first warned
ships in 1870 and was rebuilt in 1908
when an earthquake destroyed the original lighthouse. Open 10 AM to 3:30 PM daily 4:30 in the
summer.
