Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau – The Sonoma Valley is best known for its wineries and the wine they produce. Healdsburg – has a population of nearly 10,000.  This area along the Russian River was the home of the Pomo Indians before the Europeans came here.  Then there were dense oak and madrone forests today those forests have given away mainly to vineyards.

Santa Rosa – has a population of around 113,00 and is the largest city in Sonoma County which is in the center of Sonoma Wine Country. The city is an urban blend of art and culture, food, wine and recreation. This makes it a perfect hub location for visiting this area.  It is 55 mi. north of San Francisco, the Pacific Ocean is 30 miles to the west, there are 16 golf courses in the area, and around 200 wineries in the county.
